The Renegade Maidens is a community group for girls between the ages of 12(+)-18. This group is co-facilitated by adult mentors. We meet bimonthly throughout the season to build community and work together on creative endeavors and service projects chosen by the pod members. The pods are formed at the conclusion of their Seed Sisters journey. Shela and/or Neera work with the girls to determine appropriate next steps in aligning them with their group mentor. They walk with them across the threshold.
The Renegade Maidens are also tasked with providing leadership and guidance to our Seed Sister's during ceremony, circles, and camping adventures.
Our first Renegade Maidens pod was facilitated by Neera Singh. They began the Maiden Mysteries journey in the Invincible Girls Club when they were 8 years old and concluded their journey by collaborating creatively on writing a a book. In January 2024, they brought their project to completion with a short story series called Watershed.
Like the Seed Sisters, the Renegade Maiden pods meet on a seasonal basis as follows:
Spring: Mar-Apr-May | Summer: Jun-Jul-Aug | Autumn: Sep-Oct-Nov | Winter: Jan-Feb-Mar
MENTORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES!
